RISK REFERENCE

NIFTY Options Risk Management

Weekly options can lose value rapidly and may become difficult to exit at an expected price. Risk must be defined before participation.

Limit exposure

Use an amount whose loss would not impair essential finances. Leverage and premium decay can magnify mistakes.

Define invalidation

Decide in advance what would make the idea invalid and how execution gaps or slippage will be handled.

Protect against overtrading

A confirmation marker does not create an obligation to act. No-trade is a valid outcome.

Review actual costs

Include taxes, fees, bid–ask spread and slippage when evaluating Replay or live outcomes.

Use this information for software orientation and independent review. It is not a buy, sell or hold recommendation, and no condition or score assures an outcome.

MANUAL RISK CONTROLS

Execution and cost limits remain real

Verify current lot size, affordability, spread, fees and slippage before any independent action. A displayed Distance or price-level stop does not equal actual net exposure, and an entry-price exit can still be negative after costs.

The documented workflows do not support averaging, automatic reversal, stacking CE and PE positions, automatic trailing stops or adding quantity because another marker appears. A no-trade decision remains valid.
